Ray Powered Productions: A Legacy of Creativity and Entertainment Innovation

In the vibrant autumn of 2013, Aamar K. Blair founded Ray Powered Productions on the picturesque campus of Central State University in Wilberforce, OH. Initially conceived as an event production company, Ray Powered Productions quickly evolved into a multifaceted creative force with a primary focus on reshaping the landscape of campus entertainment.

Founding Years: Aamar's journey began with the creation of "Ray Powered," a script that marked the inception of the company's venture into filmmaking. Following his graduation in 2014, Aamar transitioned to the heart of the entertainment industry, Los Angeles, enrolling in grad school at USC and giving rise to the RVY brand in 2015.

RVY Powered Productions Emerges: In 2015, RVY Powered Productions emerged as the brainchild of Aamar's vision for independent film production. Armed with a Canon 5D Mark III DSLR camera, Aamar embarked on a journey of self-discovery as a videographer and photographer, solidifying his commitment to the art of filmmaking by volunteering on independent film sets.

Word Play Wednesday and the Rise of Word Play Weekend: March 2017 marked a significant milestone with the initiation of Word Play Wednesday, an open mic event born out of Aamar's passion for the arts and a tribute to the late Brandon Billups. The event became a beacon for LA's burgeoning talent, evolving into Word Play Weekend in January 2019, an artist showcase featuring top-tier talent from across the nation.

Navigating Challenges: The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020 led to the cancellation of the highly anticipated "ART CODE" event. Undeterred, RVY Entertainment adapted and persevered through the adversity, solidifying its commitment to the creative community.

RVY Entertainment LLC and RVY Films: A Complete Entertainment Platform: Spring 2021 witnessed the birth of RVY Entertainment and RVY Films, paving the way for a comprehensive entertainment platform. RVY Entertainment LLC, situated in Downtown Los Angeles, leverages over a decade of experience in live event and film production to offer clients one-stop entertainment solutions.
